A mixture of tuition and tourism which is designed to tone down the workload that is found in some conventional courses and create a relaxed atmosphere more favorable for the learning process. |

The setting is a large converted wine growing property near the medieval city of Carcassonne, a region with a rich historical background where the weather and landscape are perfect for outdoor painting. |

What the impressionists saw here more than 100 years ago has largely remained unchanged, the old village houses, the vineyards and fields of sunflowers are still here; amongst the many people who visit the region there are plenty who express the desire to capture its magic on canvas. "If only I could", these are indeed the aims of the course, a discovery of this beautiful land and above all a discovery of one´s personal capabilities. |
